The rocker version adds gentle rocking motion for residents who find it soothing, and it reclines with a lever. If you choose the recliner rocker, leave room behind the chair for it to rock and recline.
A wallsaver recliner slides forward as it reclines, so it can sit closer to the wall than a standard recliner. That helps in smaller nursing home rooms and assisted living apartments. The manual wallsaver reclines with a button.
The power wallsaver is also built to sit close to the wall, and it reclines at the touch of a button. Power is usually the easier choice for someone who has trouble pulling a lever or pushing back in a manual recliner.
